STEPKA

Stepka 2011 Chestnut Mare • (Kaolino × Step Right Up by Haffir El Rimal) Stepka is one of the most important mares in the Prime Number Farm broodmare band, carrying forward elite French racing heritage anchored by Dormane alongside proven American and Polish bloodlines. She embodies our vision of breeding Arabians who can excel on the racetrack and later transition to distance sport.

Pedigree Influence: Her sire, Kaolino, is one of the premier sons of the legendary Dormane, whose name is synonymous with French racing dominance. Dormane and his sons stamped the Arabian breed with speed, stamina, and heart, producing generations of international winners. Kaolino himself was a world champion racehorse, carrying Dormane’s toughness and brilliance to the highest levels of competition before proving himself as a sire of performers.

On her dam side, Stepka is out of Step Right Up, by Haffir El Rimal, a stallion well-regarded for durability, grit, and consistency on the track. Step Right Up’s pedigree also carries Polish strength through Carmela Ku, infusing balance, bone, and scope. This combination gives Stepka a unique blend of French brilliance and Polish/American toughness — the same formula that has built many of the world’s most competitive Arabian athletes. She reflects both the refinement of her French sireline and the toughness of her damline, making her an ideal producer for Prime Number Farm’s dual-purpose program.

Breeding Role: Though her breeding career here at PNF has began with setbacks — including a cyst and a uterine infection that delayed her first foals — Stepka has proven her resilience, and we are committed to seeing her genetic legacy carried forward. Her planned 2026/2027 foal by Kongtiki (Kong × Lanatiki) represents one of the most exciting crosses in our program: a consolidation of Dormane × Kong, two of the most potent racing influences of the modern Arabian breed.

Looking Forward: Stepka’s offspring are expected to mature in the 15–15.2h range, with balanced conformation, powerful hindquarters, and the versatility to excel in both flat racing and endurance competition.

Elite French racing blood with proven toughness — Stepka is a cornerstone of our future.
